Zoom Worship Service this Weekend

We invite you to join us in worship by Zoom this weekend, on Saturday evening, from 5-6 p.m. This will be an opportunity to worship in community, with communion (either Spiritual Communion or Communion under Special Circumstances) and to feel the joy of being with others.

Church at Home This Weekend

Join our prayerful community as we worship together via a recorded service. Through marvelous music, holy scripture, reflection, and the service of Holy Eucharist, we will engage with one another and with the holy. You may receive either Spiritual Communion, or Communion under Special Circumstance, in you have consecrated wafers at home. You may always pick up consecrated wafers from our sacristy.

A Loving Tribute to those affected by COVID

We invite you to settle into a time of prayer and healing as you engage with our worship. Through heart-felt prayers, soothing music, and scripture, you will connect with the healing power of God.

We offer this service in tribute to all those affected by COVID and give special tribute to the essential workers at Carlisle Hospital, who so faithfully continue to serve our community. The artwork of the essential workers has been created by Jane Offner. You can see the original paintings in our church this evening — and also at The Art of Pie Cafe in downtown Shippensburg.

This Sunday, we offer you a special time of worship which will heal the wounds of your soul, inspire your heart, open your being to the truth revealed in scripture, and invite you to enter into Spiritual Communion with Christ and one another. This is our Virtual Worship where through imagery, music, and prayer, we settle into the glory of God.

We invite you to worship with us, through imagery, music, scripture, prayer, and reflection. As always, we are so happy you are worshipping with us.

Extended Table Worship

Because we understand the sacrament to be at the core of our worship and engagement with the holy, we offer the opportunity for you to come into our beautiful sanctuary and engage in a service of receiving the Holy Eucharist.

To follow necessary safety protocols, you are invited to come in individually or as family groups or “COVID Pods” (those whom you regular see and feel comfortable with regarding their safety awareness) and engage in a service with Mother Barbara. She will be wearing a mask and gloves through the entire service and will disinfect between groups of people to ensure your safety.

These services are intimate, holy, and an opportunity for you to experience the real presence of Christ “in person”.

If you wish to come on January24h, please email Mother Barbara or call her at 717-333-5590. You could make arrangements to come for a 30 minute time slot between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
