Jesus came to heal our world, through his love, his acts of compassion, his fierce dedication to justice and mercy, and through the saving grace of the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist which he asked that we do “in remembrance of me.”
We too are called to be open vessels of Christ’s healing grace into our world. We do this in many ways, but one very specific way is to create a prayer service where healing prayers are offered, set within the service of the Holy Eucharist.
Each Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the church we gather to bring our whole selves, whatever needs Christ’s tender touch, to the altar and in community to be healed.
We invite you to join us for this quiet service, with prayers, scripture, soul-tending music, and the sacrament of Holy Eucharist. Healing Prayer ministers will be available to lay hands on you (if you wish) and offer prayers for yourself or anyone who is on your heart.
