For many years, we have supported our local food pantry in many ways — through prayer, volunteers, and financial support. Every month we donate $75.00 to contribute to their mission of feeding our hungry neighbors. Currently they are serving close to 300 families every single week.
We invite members of our parish, and broader community, to contribute to this commitment as they may wish. Our understanding that we are called as a community to take care of our community is deeply rooted in our faith.

Recently the statistics of the numbers of meals served by SPO were shared with me —
In 2021, they served approximately 17,000 individuals. In 2022, they served approximately 30,000 individuals.. In 2023, they served approximately 60,000 individuals. Let us give great praise and thanksgiving for their faithful service to our community — and let’s discern how we can best help them help our neighbors.
