We’re super pleased to be able to announce a creativity and spirituality series, coming right up! No experience needed, just your presence and willingness to go where you might not have gone before in the best of company. Stay tuned, more to come soon. Here are the basics of what’s being offered:
Workshop #1 – 9/23 – Writing with the Spirit, led by Sarah Wilson, 3-5 p.m. All materials provided. Everyone’s invited!
Workshop #2 – 9/30 – Exploring Spirituality through Herbs, led by Christina Luo, 3-5 p.m. All materials provided. Everyone’s invited!
Workshop #3 – 10/7 – Contemplative Photography, led by Sarah Wilson, 3-5 p.m. Bring your camera or Smart Phone for taking photos. All other materials provided. Everyone’s invited!
Workshop #4 – 10/14 – Expressing the Spirit through Painting, led by Jane Offner, 3-6 p.m. Space is limited, sign up in the Parish Life Center after the Sunday service. All materials provided.
These are opportunities to connect your spiritual life with the creative impulse which moves through all of Creation, the source of which is God, the Creator. As Julia Cameron, author of An Artist’s Life, says, “If you work on your creativity, you deepen your spirituality. If you work on your spirituality, you deepen your creativity.”
