This is simply the most important worship service of the year. In this service we light the new fire, the sign of the passover of the Lord, the newness with which we can now orient our life, for Jesus has passed over from death into life, and brings our beings into his resurrected life. This is a powerful service, with profound imagery, soul-healing music, sacred stories — all which help us find our lives set within the larger salvation story of God’s people.
Take your time with this service. Allow the rhythm to set your soul at ease as well as set on fire, to bring the good news of Jesus’ resurrection into our world in all you do and say.
