The Episcopal Church understands the centrality of the Holy Eucharist in our Christian lives. We celebrate this sacrament of praise and thanksgiving each week, coming forward each time expecting to be transformed by the love and grace of Christ.
In addition to understanding the history and tradition of the various parts of the Eucharistic service, it is helpful to explore the spirituality of entering fully into the service. This can involve exploring how our heart and soul is touched by the words, rhythm, and movement through the Eucharistic prayer.
We invite you into this spiritual exploration at Mother Barbara’s home on the following dates during Lent: 3/13, 3/27, and 4/10. We begin at 5:30, eat dinner together at 6:00, begin our conversation at 7:00, and end by 8:00. It’s a wonderful time being in community and exploring and seeking a closer walk with God through the gift of the sacrament of Holy Communion.
