We know Jesus tells us to love one another as he loves us. Caring, healing, loving each other is as natural to us as Christians as is breathing. Part of being a Christian community means showing up to each other when one is in need and offering presence, prayer, and support. There are many ways to do that here at St. Andrew’s, some very organic and individual (calling each other when you’re thinking of each other) and others are more organized, such as being a healing minister, being on the prayer chain, offer Holy Communion to the homebound, and becoming a Stephen Minister. Come to this conversation and learn more about the how and why of being a caring Christian community.
